Bull Elk - Yellowstone National Park
While traveling through Yellowstone National Park, wildlife photographer Daniel Armstrong spotted a bull elk approaching his location. So he set up a 400mm lens with a 1.4 extender/magnifier and waited. A short time later the elk came up over a small ridge about 40 yards away. Daniel captured this "up close and personal" portrait and then decided to back off to a safer distance (excellent idea!).

To Download or Share an Image:

Smartphone users will have different ways of downloading/saving pictures depending on their smartphone manufacturer.
To Print an Image:
Once you have downloaded an image using one of the options above, you can print it just like you would print any of your own pictures. Note: All of our images are pre-sized to print on 4x6" photo paper (or on 5x7" photo paper with a narrow border). Images can also be re-sized and/or cropped to print on larger paper sizes (typically you will need to use your photo editing software and/or your printer settings to make larger print sizes). Important: We do not recommend that you download any of our video files (due to their large file sizes). If you want to share a video with someone just send them a link to this site, or copy and forward the following address: www.discovergodsgrace.org.
