We had a great time at the Hope in Christ Children's Orphanage. We sang songs together, performed a skit - "Jesus Healing the Blind Man", and shared the gospel (see video below).
We also taught a 40-hour Bible workshop at a local church over a 5-day period that covered all of 1 Corinthians. Over 100 pastors, church leaders, and others attended our daily 8-hour sessions.
Our teaching team was made up of Pastor John Clark from Atlanta, Rob Armstrong from Charlotte, Pastor George Paye from Liberia and three other Liberian teachers - Isaac Paye, Asher Smith, and Ezekiel Yah. All of the Liberian teachers have successfully completed eight or more of our Bible teaching workshops over the last 5-6 years. These men (and many others) have been faithfully preaching the Gospel of grace and teaching the word of God in their churches and in the surrounding villages.
Some of the other young men have been conducting Bible workshops in nearby villages as well. They are teaching through various books of the Bible over a period of 3-5 days, and each time they do, hundreds of people are attending! They are planning two workshops (one in October and one in December) and they are expecting a combined total of 500 participants! Please pray for the faithful men and woman in Liberia who boldly proclaim the gospel of Christ.
