Do you know for sure all your sins have been forgiven forever? Do you know your eternal purpose & destiny?
"God's Way is Different !!!"
Getting Right With God, His Way!
Getting Right With God, His Way!
Are we made right with God by doing good things? You may be surprised to learn that the answer to this question is "No!" The truth is that good deeds, self-righteousness and religious devotion often prevent us from getting right with God and receiving the forgiveness He offers. Click #2 above to continue...
God's gift of forgiveness is "by grace through faith, not by works... all our righteous deeds are like filthy rags [in God's sight]!" (Ephesians 2:9, Isaiah 64:6). This means that even the best things we do are unacceptable to God, because of our natural inborn sinfulness. Click #3 above...
“It's not by righteousness things we have done, but by His mercy He saved us" (Titus 3:5). The reason the good things we do prevent us from getting right with God is because they cause us to to depend on our own worthiness, obedience or devotion. But, these things can never make us righteous in God's sight! Click #4 above...
"To him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness" (Romans 4:5). We must never rely on good deeds, commitment, or trying to do better. We must only rely on what Jesus Christ has already done for us when He died on the cross for our sins and rose again the third day! (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) Click #5...
Going to church, getting baptized or giving money can't save you! Trying to obey the 10 commandments or promising to follow Jesus can't save you! Confessing or feeling sorry for your sins can't save you! Nothing you can do, feel or or say can save you! Simple childlike faith in Jesus Christ alone is all that is required. Salvation is "the gift of God, not by works... Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved" (Ephesians 2:8, Acts 16:31). Written by Dr. John Clark

Islam teaches that Jesus was a holy prophet, but inferior to Muhammad. Buddhists say He was an enlightened teacher, but not God. Hindus believe He was a 'god' but only one of many gods. Referring to Jesus, the Bible says, “All things came into being through HIM and apart from HIM nothing came into being that has come into being... By HIM all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible. All things have been created through HIM and for HIM" (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16). Click #3 above...
The Bible teaches that Jesus is the Creator of life. All of the founders of the world's religions have died, never to be heard from again. Jesus not only died (to take away all of our sins), but He came back to life three days later! The Creator of life, died to give you life! Click #4 above...
Jesus is “GOD OVERALL, forever praised! ...GOD REVEALED in a body! ...the TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE! ...GOD WITH US! ...the MIGHTY GOD, the EVERLASTING FATHER, the PRINCE OF PEACE!" Jesus said, "Unless you believe that I AM HE, you will die in your sins." (John 1:1, Romans 9:5, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:20, Isaiah 7:14 & 9:6, John 8:24) Click #5...
The Creator of the universe became a man. He revealed Himself to mankind in a human body and died as a sacrifice and payment for your sins. On the cross, Jesus Christ suffered unbearable punishment and complete isolation from His Father. He paid the full penalty for all the sins you have ever committed or ever will commit! "Anyone who believes in Him, receives forgiveness of sins through His name" (Philippians 2:6-11, 1 Peter 2:24 & 3:18, Acts 10:43). Written by Rob Armstrong

Is it possible to lose your salvation? Will God ever turn His back on one of His children? The answer is "No!" A believer can never lose their salvation or be abandon by their loving heavenly Father! The words "eternal" and "everlasting" occur 45 times in the Bible. By their very definition they mean that which lasts forever, never ends, and can never be cut short or lost. God Himself is eternal and everlasting, His Word is eternal and everlasting, and His unchanging promise to those who simply believe in Jesus Christ alone, is eternal and everlasting life as a permanent possession! Click #3 above...
Titus 1:2 says, "God, who cannot lie, promised us eternal life before the world began" and you can be sure that He will never go back on His Word! Jesus said, "All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away... this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those He has given me, but will raise them up on the last day" (John 6:37&39). "Whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life... My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day... Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life... My sheep hear my voice, I know them, they follow Me and, I give unto them eternal life and they will never perish..." "Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death or life, neither angels or demons... Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below— indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38&39). Most people start reading in the book of Genesis, but when they get to Leviticus or Deuteronomy (the law books), they often become discouraged and give up. What they may not realize is that each book of the Bible was written for a specific purpose. Click #2 above to continue...
Some books are more pertinent (and interesting) to us than others. Two of these books, the Gospel of John and the Book of Romans, are primary and foundational. These books hold the key to understanding the message and meaning of the entire Bible. Click #3 above...
The Gospel of John was written to present an accurate and easy-to-understand biography of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. John records several personal interactions Jesus had with people just like us. He also includes word pictures and illustrations that are simple to comprehend and yet profound in their meaning. Click #4 above...
The Book of Romans was written to explain the most essential truths of the Bible. As a result, it helps us understand the Old Testament, the four New Testament Gospels and the Book of Acts. Therefore, Romans is the starting point for all Bible study! Click #5 above...
Here is a simple 21-day plan for reading the Gospel of John. Read one chapter of the Gospel of John each day. If you miss a day, just pick up where you left off the next day. If you have difficulty understanding a chapter, read it twice. If you have any questions, let us know. Click #6 to see Romans reading plan...
Our 21-day plan for Romans is a little different. Start by reading Romans 3:19-31 & Romans 4:1-8 once a day for the first five days. Note: These two passages are most important. Then, on day 6, begin with chapter one and read one chapter each day. If you have any difficulty understanding a chapter, read it twice. If you have any questions, let us know.
Have you ever heard a pastor or evangelist say, “If Jesus is not Lord of all, He is not Lord at all!" or "Salvation is free, but it will cost you everything!" or "Jesus gave His all for you, now you must give your all for Him!"? These clever sounding sayings and clichés are repeated so often that many people assume they are true. But, they are actually misleading and unbiblical. Click #2 above to continue...
These clichés are misleading because they imply that we are saved, not by faith in the death of Jesus Christ alone, but by faith plus works, or faith plus obedience, or faith plus personal submission to the Lordship of Christ. When a preacher or evangelist tells an unsaved person to surrender to Jesus as their lord and master, he is asking the impossible! Click #3 above...
Even worse, the preacher or evangelist is asking the unsaved person to do what God has not asked them to do. The Bible makes it clear that an unbeliever cannot possibly do anything righteous or pleasing to God (Romans 8:8). If personal righteousness, submission and devotion are necessary for a person to be saved, then no one could be saved. Click #4 above...
This is true because, "There is no one righteous [in God's sight], not even one. There is no one who does good, no one who seeks God" (Romans 3:10). The only one who has ever completely submitted to the will of God, is the only one who can save us from our sin and self righteousness - Jesus Christ who died and rose again for us! Click #5 above...
The Bible makes it clear that we are only made right with God by simple childlike faith (trust) in Christ's finished work on the cross on our behalf, totally apart from our our own effort, obedience or self-righteousness. No amount of submission or devotion can ever save us, or help us get right with God in any way (Ephesians 2:8-9, Philippians 3:9, Titus 3:4-7). Click #6 above...
Although the issues of Christ’s lordship over our life and personal obedience can never save us, they are a very important part of our spiritual growth once we have been saved by faith alone. Those who have been born again, are God's new creation, and He tells us that we have been "created to do good works" (Ephesians 2:10). Written by Rob Armstrong
There's No Need
to Fear Death!
to Fear Death!
For those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ alone, and not their own righteousness or good works, death is like a doorway from earth to heaven. It is a quick exit from a fallen, sinful, and cursed world and an immediate and glorious entrance into a place where there is no sin, suffering, or evil. Click #2 above to continue...
The moment a believer dies, he or she is immediately transported into the presence of our glorious and magnificent Lord and Savior! The very One who “loved us and gave Himself up for us... as an offering and sacrifice to God... and by His blood [He] set us free from our sins” (Ephesians 5:2 & Revelation 1:5). Click #3 above...
“Since the children have flesh and blood, He [Jesus] also shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of Him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death" (Hebrews 2:14-15). Click #4 above...
The Son of God came from heaven, was crucified for our sins, and rose again the third day! He broke the power of the devil and freed those who lived in fear of dying! If you have trusted in Jesus as your Savior, you never have to be afraid of death! He defeated, conquered and overcame death for you! Click #5 above...
God has created us with a strong desire to live, but as believers we also have a growing desire to be in our Savior’s physical presence – "to be absent from the body and present with the Lord... which is far better! In your presence is fullness of joy and at your right hand are pleasures forevermore!” (2 Corinthians 5:8, Philippians 1:23, Psalm 16:11) Written by Rob Armstrong
Often when we experience hardship, betrayal or suffering, we ask, "Why me?" or, "How can God allow this to happen to me?" Usually, God doesn’t explain what is going on or why He has allowed hardship to enter our lives. But, He does promise that... Click #2 above to continue...
He is “working out all things for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His [eternal] purpose” (Romans 8:28). God does not ask us to figure out the reason for what's going on, He only asks us to trust Him. By faith, He wants us to feel His loving touch and tender compassion. Click #3 above...
Wilson Benton writes, “You are one person living at one place, at one point in time, and even if God chose to reveal His all-inclusive overreaching plan for the universe, you could not possibly understand it. But, you can believe that He knows what He is doing and that He is loving enough, powerful enough, wise enough, gracious enough, and faithful enough to do what He has promised.” Click #4 above...
Joseph was beaten and sold as a slave in Egypt. Yet later he told his brothers, "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good!" (Genesis 50:20). Jesus was brutally treated and nailed to a cross, but later Peter told those responsible, "This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge." (Acts 2:23) Click #5 above...
While He was suffering on the cross for us, Jesus "entrusted Himself to the One who could deliver Him from death" (1 Peter 2:23). What Jesus experienced was the cruelest injustice in the history of the universe, yet God was using it to redeem us. When we suffer hardship, He wants us to entrust our situation to Him. He wants us to lean on Him, rely on Him, and depend on His tender mercies and loving care. Written by Rob Armstrong
Where do good works fit into salvation? The answer may surprise you! (Video: 2 min. 49 sec.)
Several hundred years before Jesus was born, the prophets of Israel miraculously foretold His coming with perfect accuracy. There are over 300 prophesies about Jesus in the Bible! Here we will look at just a few of these prophesies. Click on #2 above to continue reading...
500 years before the birth of Christ, the prophet Micah announced the exact place where Jesus would be born, His future rule over the nation of Israel, and the fact that He would be a shepherd to His people. "But you, Bethlehem... though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for Me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. He will stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God..." (Micah 5:2-4). Click on #3 above to continue...
700 years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah announced that He would be born of a virgin. “The Lord Himself will give you a sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God with us.’” (Isaiah 7:14) Click on #4 above...
700 years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah also spoke of His birth, His divine Sonship, His future government, His eternal kingdom (when He will reign as a descendant of King David on David's throne) and His many titles. "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward and forever.” (Isaiah 9:6-7) Click on #5 above...
700 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah also wrote about Christ's suffering and substitutionary punishment for our sins. He also wrote about the fact that He would be pierced for our transgressions and that He would be offered as a sacrifice, bearing our iniquities. “Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all... You make His soul an offering for sin. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities... He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53 excerpts) Click #6 above...
The author of the book of Hebrews quotes several prophesies from the Psalms that were written approximately 1,000 years before Christ came to the earth! Here are just a few of many that appear in Hebrews. “[And God said] 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father...I will be His Father, and He will be my Son.' And again, when God brings His Firstborn into the world, He says, 'Let all God’s angels worship Him.' ...About the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.” (Hebrews 1:5-9) Written by Rob Armstrong

9 Great Bible Words Defined
(Improve Your Vocabulary)
The word "faith" means to believe in, or trust in, someone other than yourself. Simply putting your faith - your trust - in Jesus Christ alone (and not your own works, devotion or religion), is the one way to receive forgiveness of sins, new life and a home in heaven forever!
"Eternal life" refers to the spiritual life which God gives without cost to anyone who simply puts their faith in Jesus Christ alone. This life begins with the new birth (the moment a person first believes) and continues for all eternity! By its very definition, eternal life lasts forever and can never be lost or cut short.
The word "substitute" means to take the place of another. On the cross, Jesus died in your place as your substitute. He took your sins upon Himself and suffered the full punishment that you rightfully deserved. Acting on your behalf, He did everything God required to save you. On the basis of His death and resurrection, anyone who merely believes on Him alone, is guaranteed forgiveness of sins and eternal life!
When God forgives us, it means that He no longer holds our sins against us; He no longer holds us responsible for all the evil we have done. God's forgives us, not because He is tolerant or lenient, but because Jesus has already suffered the full punishment we deserved for our sins. On the cross, Jesus willingly bore God's wrath in our place.
The term "incarnation" refers to the fact that, in the person of Jesus Christ, God took on a physical human body and became a man. While remaining fully God, God the Son (creator of all things) was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit in the virgin's womb. At His birth, He was called "Immanuel" - "God with us" (God revealed in a body)!
Over and over, the Bible makes it clear that we can never be forgiven, or made right with God, by doing good works or being religious. Things like going to church, getting baptized, speaking in tongues and giving money are utterly rejected by God as a means of righteousness. Salvation is a free gift, received through faith alone in Christ alone!
The word "gospel" means good news. The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose to life again on the third day. This one simple message is what God uses to bring forgiveness and salvation to lost sinners. Anyone who personally believes the gospel is saved from the penalty of their sins and made right with God forever!
In the Bible, the word "grace" refers to that which is unearned, undeserved, and freely given. It is by God's grace that we are saved. The moment an unworthy sinner trusts in Jesus Christ alone, God graciously provides forgiveness for all their sins and pronounces that the unworthy one is "perfectly righteous forever" in His sight!
By definition, "everlasting life" is life that lasts forever and never ends! The Bible says that God Himself is everlasting, His Word - the Bible - is everlasting, and the new life He gives to anyone who simply believes in Jesus Christ is everlasting! God has promised that whoever believes in Him, will never perish, but will have everlasting life!" (John 3:16)
